Fashion Shows

My work in fashion shows has moved between creative direction and execution, spanning both industry and student-led productions at different scales. Across these experiences, I’ve taken on roles ranging from backstage coordination to leadership, while working within low-budget, independent settings as well as larger, high-production environments. Together, these projects have given me an understanding of how timing, structure, and collaboration shift across contexts, reflecting my ability to navigate both the creative and logistical sides of fashion production.

Fashion Art Toronto

Runway Room Volunteer | Videographer’s Assistant | General Volunteer

Fashion Art Toronto (FAT) is Canada’s longest-running independent fashion week and a multi-arts platform supporting emerging and established designers while fostering an inclusive, experimental creative space.

I continue to work with FAT across multiple seasons, building hands-on experience within a fast-paced runway environment. I began as a general volunteer and videographer’s assistant, supporting front-of-house coordination and assisting with media organisation and footage management. I later moved into a runway role across both on- and off-site shows, working closely with guest flow, model movement, and runway preparation, developing a strong understanding of the coordination and timing required for live fashion production.

Intro Runway & Exhibit

Creative Director | Executive Assistant,

Marketing & PR

INTRO Runway & Exhibit is a platform dedicated to showcasing emerging designers and artists through experimental runway presentations and curated gallery exhibitions, creating space for new voices within fashion and visual culture.

I worked with INTRO across two years, beginning as an Executive Assistant for Marketing and PR and later stepping into the role of Creative Director. Initially, I supported content creation and BTS coverage across castings, fittings, shoots, and the show, becoming closely involved in the overall production process. As Creative Director, I helped shape the visual and conceptual direction of the show, developing the theme with the team, guiding content and marketing, contributing to gallery curation, and creating hair and makeup direction for models while helping run the show on the day of.

UTM Charity Fashion Show Club

The UTM Charity Fashion Show Club (CFSC) is a student-led initiative that combines fashion with philanthropy, organizing annual shows and events that raise funds for charitable causes while fostering a creative community on campus.

I worked with CFSC across two years, progressing from a member of the marketing team to Marketing Director and later Vice President of External Affairs. This marked my first leadership role at scale, where I oversaw social media and communications while guiding the club’s creative and strategic direction. I was closely involved in all aspects of production, from developing themes and supporting castings to shaping marketing and pre-show events. On show day, I led model coordination, overseeing dressing, hair and makeup, managing on-the-spot adjustments and rehearsals, and coordinating sponsor relations and guest experience.
